The Listing Officer has investigated my banding and says there is evidence to show my home is in the correct band, but they won’t show me the evidence. Why is this?

Under the current regulations (Council Tax (Alteration of Lists and Appeals) Regulations 1993 SI 290), the Listing Officer cannot disclose information from ‘particulars delivered documents’ unless it is for the purposes of an appeal.  Particulars delivered documents give property sales details from stamp duty records and are normally confidential.  The information can only be disclosed in proceedings about an appeal.  You do not have an appeal.  (How to make an appeal )
